Our franchise is only £40 per calendar month (just two driving lessons a month)

That's right! £40 per calendar month!

Choosing to franchise with a driving school is a huge step for any instructor and a quantum leap of faith for the cynics. Most driving instructors fear they will lose their independence and of course the old chestnut needs to be answered: "What's it going to cost me?" And yes you're right, it's all been done before, often quite badly.


A1 Learners does it different! (Well, at least until we're copied yet again)

You'll not be paying a franchise fee to help someone build their new villa in Portugal whilst telling you they "can't make the phones ring" and reminding you that you still haven't paid your franchise this month. Sound familiar?


With A1 Learners you'll actually be part of our Driving School.

What your monthly fee covers:

  • Regular upkeep and maintenance of all our driving school websites
  • Annual web hosting charges and domain name costs
  • Personalised email facilities held on a secure server
  • Google Checkout processing costs
  • A secure "https" online Booking Form with instructor password access
  • Centralised banking facilities for administrative costs
  • Support and advice from a retired Grade 6 ADI

Trying to make it on your own is not only scary but also quite pointless.

You just cannot compete in such a difficult market place and you might well be the best Driving Instructor in the world with the best website in the world but when you are on your own, well you really are on your own.


However, when an A1 Learners headboard is being seen in Chingford another one is being seen in Hornchurch and whilst that headboard is being seen in Hornchurch then another A1 Learners headboard is being seen in Manor Park and when that headboard is being seen in Manor Park another is beeing seen in.....you get the picture don't you?


A1 Learners doesn't make a living from teaching people to become driving instructors and you'll not suffer financially from having to compete with dozens of trainees for work. We offer you the chance to become part of a strong team of Instructors all pulling in the same direction and working together to make A1 Learners the best driving school in the world!


We don't offer our customers financially suicidal driving lesson rates. We offer rates that allows you to teach our customers to drive and not spend whole lessons sitting at the kerbside looking at pictures in a book, petrified to switch on the engine and burn fuel.
